Project Manager- Auckland
We are looking for a project manager on a fixed-term contract
Position Title:
Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the overall transition from NetSuite to a newly implemented system.
- Analyze existing business processes and support redesign and adaptation for the new system.
- Coordinate requirements with key departments (Accounting, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.)
- Collaborate with external vendors and system implementation partners to oversee progress and align deliverables.
- Develop and execute plans for transferring and validating existing data.
- Design test plans and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support post-launch adoption and propose continuous improvements.

Hours of Work:
Minimum 30 hours per week(Work from home available)

Suitable candidates are:
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Project Management Office (PMO) member on small to mid-sized projects.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, specifications coordination, and schedule management.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese when working with external vendors.
- Basic understanding of core business operations such as accounting, sales, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Eligible to work in NZ (Working Holiday not applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing or managing NetSuite or other systems.
- Project management experience in ERP implementation or system transition projects.
- Practical experience with data migration, including ETL design, execution, and validation.
- Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or API integrations.
- Ability to handle documentation and meetings in English.
